Red Slopes Soccer and 7EA to ready players for college

Red Slopes Soccer and 7 Elite Academy will hold a College Preparation Night at the organisation’s indoor facility in West Jordan on March 12th.

All players in the 2005 to 2001 age brackets are welcome to attend, with a range of information available to start the college application process.

The event will start at 6.30pm at the facility, which is located at 3570 Galaxy Park Place in West Jordan.

Johnny Broadhead 7EA College Prep Manager, is also the Head of Men’s Soccer at Dixie State University.

He said: “The college application process is one of the most important procedures our young people will go through, so it is essential we prepare them properly.

“We will have all the information that any youngster needs to ensure they make the correct choice for the next stage of their education.

“This is an annual event and is always well attended, as we look to give players the best possible start to college life.”

The College Preparation Night is part of a process that starts with the 7EA Pre Academy programme for younger players, aged from three to five, and extends throughout their time with the organization.

As players graduate from 7 Elite Academy and move onto college, the curriculum set in place during those earlier years is designed to offer a seamless transition to higher education.

Wayne Scholes, Chief Executive at 7 Elite Academy, said: “Our players in the 2005 to 2001 age brackets are about to embark on a fantastic future in their college education and it is our job to make sure they make the best possible start.

“I am so proud of every single one of our youngsters, who benefit from a hugely positive working relationship between themselves, 7EA coaching staff and of course their parents.

“From the very first contact at the Pre Academy stage, we ensure there is a pathway to success for all our players, as they develop into fine young people, both on and off the pitch.”
